Supply Chain professionals from Laakdal, Belgium, to São Paulo, Brasil, make it happen. Nike is looking for an Innovation Manager. In the field of Logistics a lot of innovations will happen now and in the future. To continuously serve the Consumer Nike wants to invest in new ways working and quickly capture the value of innovations.

In this role, you work in partnership with internal and external groups to find innovative ways of working, you develop and pilot innovation projects in the field of Logistics. Building and sparking the innovation culture within the European Logistics Campus (Laakdal, Belgium) is your goal. You are responsible for making innovation part of the way we work.

  • Innovationknowledge: Serves as a knowledge center for innovation within Nike Logistics. Keepsabreast of future developments in iLogistics & technology landscape(Bleeding edge, Leading Edge). Works with business experts to understandchallenges and opportunities and translates into innovative solutions.

  • Out of thebox thinking: Through design thinking and gatheringdifferent (exernal) perspectives brings out of the box ideas. Translates out ofthe box thinking into concrete solution options

  • Delivering Solutions : Drives the innovation strategy for Logisticsand manages the innovation portfolio. Identifies and runs pilots and integrateslearnings into daily business and future designs using Agile methodologies.

  • ProjectManagement: Ensures high quality project management practicesin line with Nike standard methodologies. Proactively engages,informs, aligns, and facilitates key decisions with stakeholders.

  • Influencingskills : Reads the organization and understands, interprets differentperspectives. Presents ideas and solutions in easy-to-understand manner toinfluence people and decisions. Builds acommunity to drive innovation from inside out and outside in.

  • TransitionManagement: Is anadvocate for ”thinking differently”. By applying Transition Managementmethodologies drives results and can break resistance through high qualitycommunication.

  • LeadBy Example: Applieshigh standards, consistent with Nike’s values, to every day behavior andinteractions.

Qualifications

  • University degree and at least 5 years experiencein innovation with progressive responsibilities.

  • Frontrunnerin digital developments, good insights in & affinity with Technoly asa driver for innovation

  • Curiousityto explore, early adapt, create and share innovation. A network withinnovation (consultancy) companies, industry congresses, etc is a plus

  • Experience in implementing innovationprojects in a complex supply chain environment. A proven track record ofdelivering results (quality, time, budget) on regionally-based projects.

  • Stronganalytical skills to identify areas for opportunities and synthesizeresults.

  • Ability to build bridges and a community,with a positive attitude, drive and energy. High profile communicator(story telling) to build & unite the innovation community.

  • The ability to travel to Nike’s EU HQ inHilversum, congresses, suppliers, companies to generate ideas and insights
