Description

In the internship Converse Sales you will be an integral part of the Northern Europe territory, providing vital support to the field and key account sales teams.

This internship is designed to give you a 360 degrees overview of the GTM processes within a territory in Converse. By the time you complete your assignment you will have gathered:

  • An understanding of how a territory works, the commercial strategy of how to engage with accounts and promote the sell in and sell through of our products

  • Hands on experience working with events and cross-functional team partners

  • Hands on experience working with key influencers, retail partners and general manager

FOCUS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Commercial Director on the delivery of successful key account sales plans which includes managing communication flow within departments and compiling sell through / scorecard reports on a regular basis.

  • Manage building Powerpoint presentations and external engagement

  • Assist on the ground with the activation of events

  • Showroom management to ensure seasonal key account planning meetings can be executed

  • Be linkage between sales, brand, merchandising and finance

Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Knowledge of Swedish and/or Danish language is a plus

  • Experience within or connections to the Northern European market

  • University students in their third or fourth year studying Business, Marketing, Digital, Fashion or Media

  • Strong computer skills (powerpoint, excel, word, etc.)

  • Strong writing skills, being able to add the Converse flair to standard storytelling

  • Confident and creative personality

  • Readiness to learn and be thrown in at the deep end

  • Ability to self-supervise and be proactive

  • Passion for music, fashion, sport, skate and/or art

MINIMUM CRITERIA

  • Applicants must be students currently enrolled to any higher education institution, able to provide their students status

  • Valid EU work permit

Start date: September 1st, 2017

Duration: 6 - 12 months

This internship is open to students outside of the Netherlands.
