Description

The Brand Merchandise Manager for NA Men's Footwear drives the Global brand vision into the North America Marketplace and owns consumer insights for the geography. This role is the voice of North America into Global Merchandising and other key stakeholders at the Global level.

Responsible for adopting the Men’s Footwear assortment and leading the North America strategy on Best Expressions and Channel segmentation by tier. Works cross functionally with Global Merchandising counterparts to ensure he/she has the building blocks for assortment differentiation across the marketplace. Drives communication related to the consumer right assortments to all stakeholders to ensure a consistent premium Converse brand consumer experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Align cross-functionally to represent the brandvision and the North America point of view and provide seasonal MarketplaceCapacity & Insights

  • Seek out & serve up marketplaceopportunities to Global Merchandising & Key Stakeholders

  • Deliver North America seasonal strategies andbrand modules to North America Marketplace Merchandising team

  • Set and align local wholesale and retail pricing

  • Drive geo adoption of seasonal strategies andmodules to ensure financial plans are met

  • Adopts & Adapts Channel / Tier Assortments& Drives Franchise Position

  • Kickoff North America product creation

  • Provide input to ensure geography / territoryforecasts are well-informed

  • Consolidate Marketplace Hind sighting &Complete North America hind sighting

  • Own allocation strategy by channel / tier,ensuring integrity with DTC and Converse.com strategy

  • Select apparel and footwear Go-To-Market samples

Experience/Skills Required

  • Strategically minded individual with expertisein merchandising, marketplace, channel segmentation, and commercialization

  • Analytic minded able to read and react to trendand sales data

  • Consumer focused mindset with a passion for theBrand

  • Proven record of accomplishment with creationand implementation of merchandising strategies.Ability to seek out and maximize business opportunities

  • Strong product acumen, understanding of productlifecycles and development calendar

  • Ability to influence at various levels across a matrixorganization

  • Strong communication and presentation skillswith an ability to present to larger audiences, across a variety of roles

  • Ability to apply brand strategy, business, andmanagement expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives

  • Strong process and organization skills aiding inworking in a fast-paced environment

  • Team player with positive energy and awillingness to deliver high quality results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Merchandising or related field preferred

  • Minimum of three years’ experience in footwear merchandising or buying

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite required

  • Physical movement of samples and boxes as needed, during meeting setups

  • Ability to travel 20-25% of the time
