Senior Software Engineer – NIKE, Inc., Beaverton, OR.

Create, develop, and deploy seamless, tailored, and inherently social experiences for digital consumers with a focus on computer and telephony technology tools that are used to create, store, exchange, and use all forms of information in Beaverton, OR. Will work on a Scrum team that is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the Order Management Integration Platform. Will utilize Java tools in business, web and client-server environments, including Java Platform, Enterprise Edition, Enterprise Java Bean, JavaServer Pages, Java Servlets (including JNDI), MVC, AJAX, and Java Database Connectivity technologies. Will apply an understanding of multiple development languages including Java, Javascript, HTML, and XML to write concise code in a load-balanced environment to achieve value added business outcomes. Will utilize experience in Object-Oriented analysis and design, UML modeling, classic design patterns, and J2EE patterns. Wil maximize build quality and simplify build process through the use of build integration tools, including JUNIT, Ant, and Maven, while working in a Lean / Agile delivery environment. Will analyze new business processes to determine the appropriate applications and technology needed to support the business in achieving revenue and profit goals. Will work on full life-cycle solution delivery projects involving more than 15 people and for longer than 6 months. Will collaborate with other developers and subject matter experts in onshore and offshore teams to establish technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs. Will lead and perform technical quality reviews. Will provide support of system and application solutions. Will provide business consulting, systems, data, application analysis, programming, and documentation.

Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering. Will also accept a Master’s degree in computer science or computer engineering

Experience: Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of overall progressive software engineering experience. Will also accept a Master’s degree and 3 years of experience in software engineering

Skills/Requirements: 3 years experience : (1) managing technical releases, including leading design sessions and performing code reviews, (2) JBoss ESB, (3) JBoss EAP, (4) Apache Camel, (5) SOAP and Rest Webservices, (6) providing application security with JWT, (7) Sterling development, (8) Junit, and (9) Mockito.
