As a Nike Manager, Tax Accounting Risk you will be a key member of the Income Tax Accounting Team. Your responsibilities will include managing the development and execution of procedures for uncertain tax position analysis and documentation of income tax exposures, including identifying risk in tax planning and business transactions, analyzing risk in accordance with ASC740 requirements, and recording and reporting risk in the company’s financial statements.
A high degree of accuracy and proven ability to meet deadlines in a time sensitive environment is required. You must be able to successfully manage priorities, coordinate complex projects, and develop and implement solutions to difficult problems.
You will demonstrate leadership in motivating employees and building team spirit and consensus. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, with anemphasis in Accounting required
CPA and/or Advanced Degree preferred
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate taxation in alarge corporate and/or public accounting environment
Experience with ASC 740
Demonstrable experience in federal corporate tax lawincluding filing large consolidated federal income tax returns
Exposure to international tax issues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding project management skills
Advanced computer skills including experience withMicrosoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is requiredk in a fast pace environment with excellent
Self-starter and diligent problem solver
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively manageinternal and external clients
Ability to plan and organize work for self and others
Ability to think critically in tight deadlines
