As our North America Nike Direct Loss Prevention Manager - Investigations, you’ll support the goal of providing thorough and timely investigations and incident management support to Nike, Converse and Hurley stores in North America. Specifically, you’ll be responsible for managing the day to day operations of the LP Center of Excellence (CoE), with a strong focus on shortage reduction, internal and external theft investigations, incident communication and data analysis. This role calls for both managerial and tactical skills, as the Manager will not only lead the team but carry a case load as well, focused on Organized Retail Crime impacts to the business. Finally, the role will require the ability to work closely with internal and external partners to include field loss preventions teams, Resilience, Business Continuity, legal, local and federal law enforcement, local prosecutors and others.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for development of the NA NikeDirect ORC program, ensuring appropriate partners are engaged throughout theprocess.

  • Lead CoE team to conduct thorough investigationsof internal and external theft and fraud activity impacting Nike, Converse andHurley stores.Work with field team to bringcases to resolution and provide control recommendations to the business todeter and prevent future occurrence

  • Guide the CoE team in Data Analysis andReporting efforts, delivering high impact dash-boarding and data visualization

  • Shrink resolution - Lead research and analyticalwork to identify, resolve and implement solutions to key shrink drivers.Proactively gather the right data from appropriate sources, probe/consider allof the facts and perspectives; conduct root cause analysis; refer to long termplans and goals; prioritize key factors; act decisively, promptly andconfidently

  • Monitor existing metrics and partner withinternal and external teams to identify process and system improvementopportunities



  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Sociologyor experience in a related field

  • CFI, CPP or similar industry certificationsstrongly preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience conductingtheft and fraud investigations, preparing cases for prosecution and or restitution

  • Proven ability to use data to back upassumptions and define business cases

  • Strong oral, written and presentation skillscombined with the ability to articulate complex business drivers

  • Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skillsrequired; Tableau experience a plus
